Day 5 - Sunrise 9:14 am / Sunset 3:32 pm Walking 11:35 - 12:10 & 2:00pm - 2:50 pm
A day of two walks!
Walk one - Puppy Love.
I dropped off my client for an appointment and then enjoyed a 45 minute walk down and up a long south-facing hill. Along the way I met three (!!!) puppies out with their people.
The Lady Labrador was 13 weeks old, and had the softest eyes. She rolled over and gave me her warm belly to rub.
Mr Boxer was 3 months and full of bounce, he sprang around me on four legs but, amazingly, did not jump on me. (He had a lovely long tail and floppy ears, thankfully it's illegal to butcher (crop) boxer ears in Europe.)
Ms Jack Rustle was six months old and, after a quick back scratch, sniffed my pockets. When it was discovered that I did not have treats, he quickly moved on.
Walk two - Down to the Fjord
We took a sun filled stroll down to the water and back. The feeling full sun warming you through the winter's cold has a way of lifting one's soul.
Needless to say, when the sunshines, walk in it.
